Bayeux Tapestry - The Bayeux Tapestry (French: La Tapisserie de Bayeux) is a 50cm by 70m (20in by 230ft) long embroidered cloth which depicts scenes commemorating the Battle of Hastings, with annotations in Latin. The embroidered tapestry is presently exhibited in a special museum in Bayeux, Normandy, France.
